Electronic Visa – Visit Russia
The Russian Federation Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has approved regulations on the procedure for issuing the Electronic single entry visas as of 2021.
Applications can be submitted on a special website of the Foreign Ministry or via a mobile application. They will be issued to foreign nationals for tourism, business, private visits or humanitarian purposes without the need of any invitations, hotel bookings or any other documents to confirm their reasons for travel.
The processing procedure will take up to four days. The visa will be valid for 60 days as of its receipt, but the maximum stay in Russia must not exceed 16 days.

The Russian Federation Government to allocate 1.2 billion roubles for grants to tourism industry
According to a directive signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the Russian Federation Government allocated 1.2 billion roubles for tourism industry. The money was allocated under the state program Economic Development and the Innovation-Driven Economy. An additional 1.2 billion roubles will be allocated for grants to support projects for the development of domestic and inbound tourism.
